Free Survey
We attend your property, usually within 48 hours, and inspect the loft, rafters and any cavity wall foam. A boroscope camera goes into the void and a moisture meter checks timber readings. You get photographs, a written scope and a fixed price the same day. No charge, no obligation.
02
Method Statement
Before we cut anything we agree the removal method with you in writing: dry ice blasting for brittle foam, sand blasting for stubborn closed cell, or mechanical cutting for thick slabs. We confirm access, dust control and how waste leaves the property. This is the document your lender may ask to see.
03
Controlled Removal
Two technicians in protective clothing and respirators sheet up the loft, run an air scrubber and start cutting. A typical three-bedroom semi in Grimsby takes four to six hours. Foam is bagged, sealed and removed from site the same day, not left in your garden.
04
Timber Inspection
With the foam gone we inspect every rafter, batten and felt run. Any soft timber is flagged and photographed. We check the breathable membrane, clear the eaves vents and confirm the roof void is dry. You see the timbers yourself before we pack up.
05
Report and Reinstatement
You receive a removal report with before-and-after photographs, moisture readings and a statement of the method used. Where insulation is needed, we reinstate with mineral wool or Thermafleece rather than foam. That report is what your valuer, solicitor or insurer wants on file.
